A patient Mrs X aged 30 yrs/F, from Semmancheri, consulted us on 21/04/2024 for Infertility. Her MRI report taken on 21/04/2024 shows a septum in fundal region, seperating the endometrium in upper uterine cavity - suggestive of "SUBSEPTATE UTERUS" with (B/L) PCOD.
She had complaints of Irregular menses since 10 yrs. Menses - once in 4 months; flow only during day. She had pain in mammae with hardness before menses. She also had thick lumpy leucorrhoea with itching in vagina. She also had pain in anus during menses. For which, she took treatment for about 4 months and ger USG PELVIS - scan report taken on 02/08/2024 - shows only smooth fundal indentation noted over endometrial cavity. A septum in the fundal region of uterus have been completely resolved within a short span of time. She is now continuing her treatment for infertility.
A subseptate uterus is a rare congenital uterine anomaly, where there is a presence of a partial septum within the uterus not extending to cervix. Two endometrial cavities will be noted in scan report. It increases the risk of miscarriage.
This case clearly shows the efficacy of homoeopathy in resolving the septum naturally wihtout the need for surgical correction (Hysteroscopic Septum Resection) thereby preventing its complications.
